ABOUT US

Dennis Ryan, formerly of Jersey Shore Cosmetics, founded Princeton Balm Company and its brands to offer a safe alternative to toxic ingredients in cosmetics and skincare. He was inspired by his mother, Jacquelyn (founder of Jersey Shore Cosmetics) and by the beauty of the Pine Lands and beaches in southern New Jersey, where he grew up. 

Since moving to Seattle, Washington, Dennis has acquired the JSC brand and expanded on its clean-beauty concept by creating Princeton Balm Company. PBC now houses Jersey Shore Cosmetics, as well as other up-and-coming clean brands.

Princeton Balm Company is a family-owned and operated company founded with a mission to provide the highest quality personal care and beauty products that are safe and free of toxins.

Princeton Balm Company (and its brands' products) are developed with love by Dennis Ryan and his team of select herbalists, scientists, and formulators. Dennis works with the company's chemists and herbalists on the formulation of each product to find the cleanest, healthiest ingredients that will deliver the best results. 

Princeton Balm Company brands are paraben-free, phthalate-free, and toxin-free. Formulated using essential oils, natural fragrances, plants, extracts, and botanicals. We use recyclable packaging, and we never test on animals. 

Our products are non-toxic, eco/reef-friendly, baby safe, and cruelty-free.

Princeton Balm Company brand, JSC is a proud sponsor of Autism Family Services of New Jersey, The Lupus Foundation New Jersey Chapter, Susan G. Komen of Central and South Jersey, GRASP.org, The Environmental Working Group/ Healthy Child Healthy World (ewg.org), and various other local and national non-profit organizations. As we grow and develop, we intend to donate to additional organizations that address homelessness, women's rights, LGBT inclusive, and clean water issues.
